Perry Barr before the campus
A view of Perry Barr before the building of the current City North Campus. Wellhead Lane stretches across the top. Some of the houses along that road and the bus depot are still there of course though much else on this photo has long gone.

Hi Kris I used to live in one of the houses in Wellhead Lane, up until 1974, after which our side of the road was demolished to make way for the Poly car park. I have lovely memories of being a kid there and would love a Hi res copy of this pic. Can you help? I now live in Portsmouth after joining the Navy in 1974. I sometimes visit Birmingham to see my Brother and always go to Wellhead Lane as a pilgrimage. Many thanks Mike mikeoleary01@gmail.com
